What could revenue
participation pay me?
Payments as revenue is collected. The same revenue path as Long-term equity.
Modeled cash paid by your selected year
Principal returned + cash gain
Full principal recovery · modeled
━ Recovering your investment━ Payments beyond principal
Optional equity conversion applies only to unpaid upside, at an agreed valuation. It replaces those cash payments; it is not added to this graph.Illustrative cash payments, not guaranteed. Timing depends on eligible revenue being collected.Proposed terms & assumptions
$250K pool, assumed fully subscribed. 5% of eligible collected revenue is shared pro rata until each participant receives 1.3× their capital. This is a total payout multiple, not an annual return. No automatic equity. Same revenue path as the equity model: no revenue modeled before Year 2; $2M annual revenue at Year 2 by default. Middle ground grows 200% below $3M, 100% to $10M, then 50% annually; High ground doubles those growth rates. Revenue is integrated through each quarter to calculate collections, with no collection delay. The equity graph marks value using annual revenue, while this graph accumulates quarterly payments. No payments beyond the cap. If the pool is not filled, allocation and revenue-share terms must be agreed before use.
The default assumes 100% of modeled company revenue is eligible and collected. Stress testing can reduce that fraction. Eligible revenue needs a contractual definition addressing creator payouts, refunds, rewards, taxes and other pass-through amounts. The proposed sequence allocates payments to principal first, then upside; the agreement must establish that allocation and the optional conversion of unpaid upside. The graph models the cash path only. No taxes, fees, default recovery or payment priority is modeled. These are proposed terms for discussion, not a live offer.
